The power of the press, people.

Last week I mentioned that Chipotle was noticeably absent from the Irvine Spectrum’s free Curbside To-Go Program. Well, no more.

I’ve heard from the Irvine Spectrum people and Chipotle has decided to join the program. Now you can get Chipotle without ever having to get out of your car too.

Better than Sprinkles?

Our community blogger Stephen Craig reviewed the Sweet Spot Baker’s Workshop in December, dishing about the quality of the cupcakes. Seems people are more than willing to pay $4.75 for a do-it-yourself indulgence. If you prefer to leave the frosting and decorating up to the pros, pre-made cupcakes can be bought for $3.25 each, the same price as cult-favorite Sprinkles in Newport Beach.

Speaking of Sprinkles, my husband declared Sweet Spot’s cupcakes “better than Sprinkles.” As for me, I thought they were comparable.

What do you think? Can Sweet Spot give Sprinkles a run for its money?

The company’s clothes are famous for their itch-reducing double stitches, preshrunk fits, convenient credit card and key pockets, and other streamlined features.
