Irvine’s Advantage Sales and Marketing, which serves more than 1,200 clients in the consumer packaged goods industry, has signed a lease to occupy the top two floors of a newly opened Irvine Company-owned office building near John Wayne Airport.

Advantage will move less than a mile from its current corporate headquarters at 19100 Von Karman to a 10-story glass and granite high-rise at 18100 Von Karman, part of the Irvine Towers complex. The company’s new home base will take up 48,468 square feet.

Terms of the seven-year lease were not disclosed. Other suites for lease at 18100 Von Karman are being listed at between $2.65 and $2.85 per square foot per month, according to the the Irvine Company Office Properties Web site.

The move to the top of the tower gives Advantage prime visibility to those driving on the 405 Freeway, which runs adjacent to developing high-rise complex. The 12,000-employee company, which offers a range of sales and marketing services, has counted Gillette, Del Monte, S.C. Johnson, and Unilever as some its clients.

Other tenants at 18100 Von Karman include John Hancock Insurance, Hill International, OnCure Medical Corp., Align General Insurance, and Environ Holdings, Inc.
