Visit the Irvine Retail blog every Monday, when we’ll spotlight one home on Irvine’s market. This week: a single-family home behind the gates in Northwood.
This 2,460-square foot home sits near the entry of a cul-de-sac, has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a granite-countertopped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, his-and-hers walk-in closets and an upstairs entertainment room/loft, the listing says. The house sits about 3 miles from Northwood High School.
The 2-story, single-family home went on the market in May, 2007, and has since seen several price drops, according to the Multiple Listing Service. Public records indicate it was sold to the original homeowners in 2005 for $964,000. It’s now listed at $849,000.
The average price of homes sold in the is $775,000, according to Redfin.
Horrible copy of the Irvine Housing Blog. Why don’t you try some analysis?
I guess imitation is the best form of flatteing…. What a blatant copying of Irvine Housing Blg. Shame on you!
This house and the entire Irvine housing market are way over priced!!!
Cheap cheap ripoff

Wow! Those are some mean comments…
I think it is terrific what you are doing, particularly since it didn’t read like a bunch of realtor hype. I would suggest you try to look for good deals. There are some out there with very low asking prices on a per-square-foot basis. I won’t venture out of Irvine, but you can.
