Register staff writer Sean Emery wrote an interesting story about University Park Barbershop, which turned 40 years old on Saturday.

The old-fashioned business, located in a strip mall at Culver and Michelson, remains what it has been for generations – a destination for locals who want a traditional barbershop experience.

The shop may be the city’s oldest continuous business.
